Accreditation

Accreditation is a formal process of promoting school improvement and recognizing school excellence. It is a self-study and analysis, a comparison to established standards, as assessment of a school's mission, a commitment to quality education, and a willingness to be held accountable.

ICA is the first Philippine Christian School accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), based in Colorado, USA. On October 17-19, 2006, an ACSI team conducted a midterm visit. Their final overview is as follows:

"It is the opinion of the Midterm Visiting Committees, after spending two days in conference, classroom visitations, and observations, that International Christian Academy is making very good progress in meeting the recommendations of the 2004 ACSI Visiting Committee.

Many of the recommendations have already been implemented, while others are in the process of being implemented. The school has resources to complete the recommendations identified. They have in place a monitoring committee to ensure completion and a reporting system to communicate progress to all stakeholders.

ICA continues to offer the type of program that qualified it for a full accreditation term by the Association of Christian Schools International. May the Lord continue to bless this fine ministry and use it to His glory."
