Every August, schools all over the Philippines celebrate and pay tribute to our national language and culture. ICA was no exception, capping the celebrations with Pistang Pinoy, a day packed with programs and activites all geared towards celebrating what it means to be Filipino. However, this being ICA's 25th year, the celebrations were on a scale never before seen.

Beginning at 5:30 in the morning, the day kicked-off with ICA hosting GMA's early morning television show, Unang Hirit. This was followed by a program by the Filipino Department showcasing the various cultural presentations prepared by the selected students and faculty.

As with all "Pistang Pinoy" celebrations, lunch was an important event, with four roasted pigs being prepared onsite.

In the afternoon, the ICA family kicked back and relaxed with various games organized by the student council as well as taking turns riding the three horse- drawn carriages especially brought in for the day.
